Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host – update

The court case by John Ho against the ROS supposedly authorised by 62 members of the Club as at 22.7.2018 was withdrawn by his solicitors on 21.6.2019.

RM2000 was agreed by ROS as cost and John Ho has/had to pay for the cost. John Ho’s lawyers had bargained for RM500 whereas ROS wanted RM5,000. The Judge then decided that RM2000 was reasonable and ROS accepted the figure.

Meanwhile, a New Club has been formed on 2.7.2019 under the same old name Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host.

Look at the words 'Daftar Pertubuhan Baru' ( New Organisation formed)

As usual John Ho has circulated a devious Whats App message that the old Club has been reinstated.
Here is the Whats App message I received from several Lions.

Following our formal appeal to the Minister under the Societies Act and our Court Action, KK Host is now reinstated by ROS.

KK Host and members are now thoroughly exonerated from all the unjustifiable accusations, untrue allegations and untoward comments that keep coming over the past 2 years from unscrupulous persons including (sad to say) certain Lions and Lions Leaders.

KK Host and members are extremely keen to put everything behind and move forward. Today is a new day for KK Host to start over again to regain its former glory and standing.

WE SURVIVED!!!
PDG JOHN S F HO.

AND as usual most of the Lions believe him and are going around shouting that the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host has been re-instated.

Is this the end of the episode?

I am not even sure of the statement: "KK Host and members are now thoroughly exonerated from all the unjustifiable accusations, untrue allegations and untoward comments that keep coming over the past 2 years from unscrupulous persons including (sad to say) certain Lions and Lions Leaders."

Most people just give up when they meet the first obstacle. Never quit. Believe you can do it.
