Acquisations against PP Chin and his responses

A Facebook friend, Dwayne Min Johnson, has been pestering me for proof which I now have.

Let’s start from the very beginning, a very good place to start.

At a directors’ (Not duly elected) meeting the following was tabled:

Decision to take disciplinary action against a member.

Consideration of disciplinary actions against members, including the potential removal of members from the Lions club of Kota Kinabalu Centennial.

PP Chin Chee Thau was accused of

1. Disclosure of internal club matters to outsiders which resulted in the matters being published in the Daily Express.

2. Pestering of the Club Secretary since July 2024.

3. Spreading unsubstantiated allegations.

Now, let us see PP Chin’s response one point at a time.

I have not engaged in any unauthorized sharing of internal club matters with someone outside the Lions organization. With over 70 members in the Centennial Club, along with Lions from other clubs and cabinet officers—totaling more than 100 individuals—already aware of this matter, it is effectively common knowledge. Why, then, am I being unfairly targeted as the one responsible for leaking information? This feels like deliberate victimization.

To further disprove this claim, I recall being told by Lion Horace Ho about an incident a few months ago in 2024. Despite his busy schedule, Horace was pressured into attending a meeting one evening. Present at this meeting were 1st VDG Wennie Lee, Anny Poh, Horace Ho, and Liew Kong Ming from the Lions Club of Kota Marudu. Throughout the discussion, Horace remained quiet while 1st VDG and Anny Poh aired their frustrations in front of Liew Kong Ming, a non-member of our club. They even urged Horace to abandon the Centennial Club and encourage senior members to join the Marudu Club. Horace, after finishing his meal, left the meeting early when his daughter called, asking him to help his wife, who had misplaced her phone while feeding stray dogs. As he departed, Anny Poh told him to take her words seriously.

Shouldn't Annie Ho, investigate if the following is correct: Present at this meeting were 1st VDG Wennie Lee, Anny Poh, Horace Ho, and Liew Kong Ming from the Lions Club of Kota Marudu. Throughout the discussion, Horace remained quiet while 1st VDG and Anny Poh aired their frustrations in front of Liew Kong Ming, a non-member of our club.
