I have written earlier that the Lions
Club International considers the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host as still in
good standing despite the club being de-registered by ROS.
Recently, I heard that International
Club dues were paid for 2018/2019. This news is yet to be confirmed by LCI.
I have also now confirmed that the letter from ROS de-registering the Lions Club was sent to the secretary and copied to President Betty Epin, Treasurer Jessie Goh See Yee. The Police and to the insolvency department.

1. How did the club which is de-registered manage to collect dues from its members?2. If it is true that money was collected and remitted to LCI should LCI accept the money? LCI has been informed that the club has been de-registered. As such they cannot say they are unaware.
Anyway, I have written to LCI Legal and to
the President and the Administration Department and let us hope for a response. Here is my email to LCI and the President.
luqman michel <luqmanm2002@yahoo.co.uk>To:Lions Clubs International,Lions Clubs International,District Administration21 Jan at 05:22Dear Sir,You are aware that the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host alsoknown as Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu was de-registered on 28.6.2018.I understand that Lions International dues has been paid by the club for year 2018/2019.This information is vital as there is a court case between the Club and Registry of Society which is to be heard in March 2019.Please confirm if this is true.I am intrigued as to how a club that has been de-registered on 28.6.2018 was able to collect dues from members and submit to you.Regards,Luqman Michel
