There is an originating summons in the court in Kota Kinabalu filed by John Ho @ Ho Shui Fah and Francis Liew against Registry of Societies.
Back in January 2019 I wrote to Lions Club International. Here is my email and an automatic reply. As expected LCI Legal did not respond. I believe it is very irresponsible of LCI not to respond.

Dear
Sir,
You
are aware that the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host also
known
as Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu was de-registered on 28.6.2018.
I
understand that Lions International dues has been paid by the club for
year
2018/2019.
This
information is vital as there is a court case between the Club and Registry of Society
which is to be heard in March 2019.
Please
confirm if this is true.
I
am intrigued as to how a club that has been de-registered on 28.6.2018
was
able to collect dues from members and submit to you.
Regards,
Luqman
Michel

Just want position and do nothing bro
You got it right my friend. But, this is ridiculous. How can a club that is de-registered be considered in good standing by Lions International.
What happened to the ethics the Lions talk about?
Should Lions International have some regard for local government?
