Comments by George Anson Kunjan and my response – Part 2

George Anson Kunjan Birds of a feather flock together.

Response: I understand now. AND they protect each other at the expense of the Lion Movement.

Lie Chin Man How is it possible for the club not been properly registered? We are required to file in our annual return on time n have been doing that without failed; surely members who had served as club Secretary could not have overlooked this if it is true. Are you sure of you finding Mr.Luqman?
Luqman Michel Mr.Lie Chin Man, I will let you know in my post tomorrow. Otherwise it will be all lost in the volume of words. Perhaps we should turn to our in -house expert PDG John S F Ho. After all he had said (in-writing) he knows everything as he has been a member for over 40 years.

Response: The same question was asked by a young and very active Lion Audrey Disimon. She disappeared from my screen after some very pertinent questions she had asked. I believe she will turn out to be an exceptional Lion if not indoctrinated by older Lions.
Norman, did you check with your in-house expert as to why the club was not properly registered? Did any one of the members answer your questions as to:

1.     Why as the oldest club in K K, we still could not get our name registered correctly after 50 long years in existence?
2.      Nama Bank : Hong Leong Bank Berhad ,(HLBB)
Nombor Akaun : 10196 001008 6277 (ABMB)
Why was the Bank name in the name of HLBB and the account number against it that of Alliance Bank Berhad?
Was it to hoodwink ROS because ROS had received a letter requesting confirmation from Hong Leong Bank?
3.       Was the number of bank accounts held by the Club disclosed as 5 bank accounts at the 8th BOD meeting? Did the minutes disclose what was discussed at the 8th BOD meeting? If not, did anyone bring this matter up?
4.       Did anyone at the subsequent meeting ask as to why the 10 page report was reduced to just one sentence – PP Norman presented a 10 page report?
5.       Was the fact that the club has a fixed deposit account which has been accumulated over the years from funds meant for projects and meant for the needy discussed at the 8th BOD meeting? If so, why was this not disclosed in the minutes of meeting?
6.       What was the reason for falsifying information in the ROS register including adding positions like Assistant secretary and Assistant Treasurer when these positions are non-existent? Does anyone dare tell me that this was a mistake and not done on purpose?
7.       Why is the club not shown as an asset in ROS?
8.       Where did the money for purchase of the building come from? Was part of it financed by excess project money?

George Anson Kunjan Before anyone say negative things about others maybe it is wise to see oneself in the mirror whether there is anything that one can be proud of oneself

Response: George, there are many things I am proud of. One of them is the fact that I have taught about 50 disengaged students to read well and thereby changed their course of life. I wanted to make this into a signature project in our club but was not allowed by your president. Only uninformed guys like you will call such students OKU. Believe me George, compared with some of my disengaged students you will be the one considered OKU.

George Anson Kunjan Tan Sri Peter Loh and Tan Sri Harris Salleh, both former Sabah Chief Ministers were both Past Presidents of the Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host.

Luqman Michel So, what is your message George Anson Kunjan. Go to the Registry and check if the name exists. Then come and comment.

Response: I wrote the above on 9.12.2016 and did anyone check on this with the ROS before the EGM on 3.1.2017? If Datuk Harris hears of what has been going on in our club he would probably resign as a member.

George Anson Kunjan If you know that the club is not registered you know what to do. Otherwise it tells a lot about your credibility and integrity.
Luqman Michel George Anson Kunjan, I found this out only day before yesterday. Unsatisfied I went again yesterday and confirmed it. Now you are a Monarch - do what you can do as a PDG. I am only a 2 year old Lion as you said.

Response: George, what did you do? What did any of the ‘intelligent’ (as you put it) members do? You and your Lion members have no right to talk about credibility and integrity.

George Anson Kunjan I don’t do as I like. Lions Clubs have Code of Ethics to be observed. If you know you are only 2 years old lion you should know that you have a lot to learn especially the club's code of ethics. Why divulge to the public internal matters of the club. What are you trying to prove? What you have been posting on fb is a reflection of your own self that you are proud of but leave the LCKKH out of it. The club may not be perfect but it is not for public consumption. For some it is training ground for leadership. If mistakes are committed the club has to make them correct and not for an individual member to rubbish it in public.

Response: What a whole lot of Bull from a PDG! “The Club may not be perfect?” Nonsense! The club is corrupt and has engaged in criminal activities for so long. “Training ground for leadership?” Rubbish! You guys talk about Robert’s Rules of Order and conduct meetings like a bunch of rowdies and you dare call your club a training ground? Tell me one meeting that was conducted according to Robert’s Rules.
What kind of leadership are you talking about when your PDG can ask your Immediate Past President (IPP) to go and learn English? What kind of leadership are you talking about when not one of you stepped in to defend your IPP?
What leadership training are you talking about when your president after 5 years in your club cannot even make a simple decision without consulting the PDG?

George Anson Kunjan What proof you have. I suggest you go again to ROS and tell us what will you find.

Response: I have given you all the proof you need. Norman has crossed checked what I have told you guys. Now, tell me what else you need as proof? Why don’t you go to ROS?

Kandiah Namas This stamp does not mean anything. Silly to show it as some proof of registration! It may be a simple receipt of the proposed constitution, the stamp having been placed by the receiving clerk!

Response: Imagine that post coming from the former partner of an Audit firm. Even an audit clerk knows that one can use a name only upon receiving the certificate of ‘incorporation’ from ROS and not merely upon applying for the change of name.

George Anson Kunjan Lions Club is autonomous from Lions Club International. It is likely the response from LCI will be for the club to resolve the matter at club level.
George Anson Kunjan Lions clubs International Presidential Theme 2016-2017 is new mountains to climb. Unfortunately the opposite is done in LCKKH, taking it deeper into the drain.

Response: Yes, LCI did tell me that Lions Clubs are autonomous but they did change their view when they found out that there was allegation that monies have been misappropriated. LCI did ask the DG, Eve Wong, to get the leaders to resolve this matter. But it appears that there are no leaders who want to go against our club or our PDG. That shows the kind of leaders our Lions Club of District 308 A 2 has.
We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them. (Einstein)
Problems cannot be solved by guys who created them with intent to defraud. (Luqman)

George Anson Kunjan What questions are there to be answered? They are all wild allegations. What dirt hidden under the carpet? I think you have joined the club for the wrong reason.

Response: You tell me, George, which of my allegation is wild? Do you think I will write my emails to the members and post on my blog and FB if I cannot back up any of the matters I write on?
I joined the club to do social work and to help the needy with useful projects.
