This morning, I read the following including the clip above on LinkedIn and decided to comment on it.

"When we take others into consideration during our endeavors, our thinking changes for the better. Our lives change for the better. Not just individually, but for a community as a whole.”

My emails to The Sabah Council of the Justices of the Peace (MAJAPS)

 

I read an article in the daily express dated 16.8.2020 and it reminded me of my emails to the MAJAPS president in 2017.

I intend to write another email to MAJAPS but here is a reply from MAJAPS to my emails in 2017 and my response to its email which was not responded to. Without this background information my intended email to MAJAPS will not make sense. 

Comments by John Ho via Marcia Hong (Part 2)

Marcia Hong Luqman Michel , have you told IPP:

2. those statements were tabled and adopted at the 2012 AGM of KK Host and the bank accounts are in the name of the club and have been properly established and operated since 18 years ago. How can these be secret accounts?

My response: This is a blatant lie as no one other than the Past Presidents’ Council knew about these three accounts. I was director for the year 2015/2016 and I was not informed about the 3 accounts. All the directors were given treasurer’s report which consisted of the Administrative account and Project bank account held and operated by the club in Alliance bank.

John Ho's comments in IPP Barry Palmers FB page - Part 1

After an absence of more than a year of comments by John Ho via his common law wife Marcia Hong he suddenly appeared on 21.5.2019 and posted a few lines in a Face Book post in International Past President Barry Palmer’s page. 

I did not want to respond but then again if I don't many of the readers of IPP Barry's FB page will think that I am at fault.

IPP Barry Palmer - Face Book discussion (Part 1)

International Past President of Lions Club International, IPP Barry Palmer is the only IPP from Australia. He has been my Face Book friend for quite a while.

Here is the beginning of a FB exchange from May 12^th 2019. Let us hope IPP Barry will be able to investigate into this matter and recommend to LCI on what action to take against the culprits who have siphoned off grant money from LCIF meant for the poor.

When I was still a member of the club I wrote an email to all members of Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host and asked if there were more than the two bank accounts extended to the BOD. 

No member responded. Then I found out that the auditor of the accounts for year 2015/2016 was Pung Chen Choon our in-house expert on Robert Rules.

Passing the buck (Part 2) - Eve Wong

Here are emails to and fro DG Eve Wong. I am posting all of them at the same time as I will be very busy with some work next month and in April.

Please read the emails in their entirety as only then will you get a grasp of the actual situation. I did not rush into anything at all. I wrote my emails and gave enough time and I am only posting these emails now as no Lion/Lions Club or even LCI had come forward to settle this problem amicably.

Passing the buck (part 1) details

Now, that even LCI Legal is trying to pass the buck to me I think it is high time I lay all the cards on the table.

End of the road with LCIF

The email in my post yesterday from LCIF was the last email from them. Upon my reminder to LCIF on  8.2.2018 (see last email below) I received an email from LCI Legal. 

I shall hold on to that email from LCI and go back in time and post the emails to some of our local dignitaries so that you may be able to see the sequence of event more clearly.

Meanwhile, here is my response subsequent to the email from LCIF in yesterdays post.

In response to a comment by a Face Book friend, Marcia Hong said that she was an invited guest at the board meeting where she had blurted out some words.

Now, I went through the minutes as I have a little time as I think that this has gone far enough and we should leave it to ROS for its investigation as I had intended.

The two faced Lion's Club of Kota Kinabalu

My former club must be the only club in the world with two names i.e Lions club of Kota Kinabalu and Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host.

I have now been informed that the statement attached to my blog post earlier this morning was never presented at an AGM but was presented to the Past Presidents Council.

My response to MAJAPS dated 22.5.2017

Dear Datuk Seri Panglima Clarence B. Malakun,

Thank you for your long awaited response to my several emails the first of which was dated 24.2.2017 and several telephone calls to your personal secretary.

Let me just make it clear to you that this is not a matter of exacting revenge but requesting you to look into a complaint of a member of MAJAPS who has acted without integrity.
