Hind sight on John Ho’s intimidating email

This post was drafted in January 2021 but for some reason I had not published it.

Today, 25.1.2021, I read the email from PDG John Ho to PDG Eve Wong, International president of LCI and David Kingsbury of LCI legal. This email was written in March 2017.

I read the email to prepare documents for filing my intended court case against my former Club.

Let me respond to the email with hind sight.

Comments by John Ho via Marcia Hong (Part 2)

Marcia Hong Luqman Michel , have you told IPP:

2. those statements were tabled and adopted at the 2012 AGM of KK Host and the bank accounts are in the name of the club and have been properly established and operated since 18 years ago. How can these be secret accounts?

My response: This is a blatant lie as no one other than the Past Presidents’ Council knew about these three accounts. I was director for the year 2015/2016 and I was not informed about the 3 accounts. All the directors were given treasurer’s report which consisted of the Administrative account and Project bank account held and operated by the club in Alliance bank.

Wolves Among Lions

This morning (10.5.2018) I was introduced to a lovely person by a mutual friend. I must say that I liked her the moment I met her and got to like the way she thought even more as we had out breakfast.

Fortunately, for me I met her today and not a month ago as she is a very strong person and could have convinced me not to write my book on the Lion episode.

My responses to comments on FB - Part 1

This post is for Lions all over the world
My response to previous comments on FB

I went through all FB postings on 'my club experiences' and found these posts that I had not responded to as I was busy. Now, that I have all the time in the world I thought I should respond to some of the questions posed by PDG George Anson Kunjan. This is the first of such posts.

Norman Lie's Board Papers -7.2.2017

Norman Lie’s BOD papers – 7.2.2017
The year of the Rooster started with a bang for KK Host with two main events that had attracted members’ interest to turn up in large numbers, the impending handover of the Asrama Desa Lion on 18 February 2017 is a long awaited event that will culminate as the highlight of fiscal year 2016-17. (Other than the 50th Anniversary celebration in October 2016)

The first event on 3 January 2017 was unfortunately unprecedented, involving 41 members which would go down in History of the Club as a day of immense controversy and somewhat sordid an affair where members in general were lobbied to attend and make decisions based on evidence put forward by 18 members to judge LM’s legitimacy to remain a member of the Club. No need for me to expound further the outcome of the 03 January special meeting.

Altered minutes by the President

The following extract from my club's 4th BOD meeting is fabricated by a puppeteer from my club.

e). President tabled an email from Ln. Luqman Mitchel dated 11th September,2016 calling the President by using bad word and accusing and threatening the President. Copies of the email and various postings from Ln. Luqman’s facebook were distributed to all members at the meeting.
Concern was expressed on the tension, aggression, discomfort and conflict caused by such behavior which does not augers well for the harmony and unity of KK Host members and it also violates our Lions Code of Ethics.
After establishing that it is a club’s matter, President requested the Membership Committee to look into the issues and make recommendations on an appropriate action for the Board to take. However, Membership Chairman declined on the ground of conflict of interest as he is also Ln. Luqman’s sponsor and suggested the Past Presidents’ Council instead.
It was resolved to request the Past Presidents’ Council to look into all the issues and make recommendations to the Board.
