This is for all new readers of my posts. This is to show that I have tried my best to resolve matters with my former club before deciding that I have no choice but to take legal action.

I believe it was the loyalty to the Lions movement that blinded almost all the Lion members of District 308A2.

There are still many Lions who think that I am the cause of Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu being deregistered when in fact it was the misappropriation of funds from the club by John SF Ho and many of the Past Presidents of the Past President council.

 

I wrote an email to the DG Tiong, the VDG and a number of the PDG's. Now, that I have had no response I shall write to ROS as promised in my email as shown below.

 

My emails to PDG's and to LCI

The following are a few emails I had sent to PDG's and to LCI since December 2016. If the PDG's or DG or LCI had taken the Bull by the horn matters could have been resolved in a much more amicable way. 

Currently I have initiated emails with LCIF and hope they would be more responsive.

My email to PDG's on 31.1.2017

The following is an email I had sent to most of the PDG's and zone chairperson on 31.1.2017,
I will post the sequence of events each day for those interested in following what has been going on in my club.

My Dear friends,

I have been expelled from my club of Kota Kinabalu Host as of 18.1.2017.

It was a premeditated move to block me from seeking the truth of the bank accounts not filed with ROS nor informed to almost all club members.

Dear Lion Members.

I understand the special meeting to-night is going on despite my request to update the ROS records.

I request the BOD to amend the following from the 6th BOD.

The following is part of the minutes of the 6th BOD/Regular meeting which deals with my dismissal issue.

               

PDG John went on to say that the following resolution would be tabled   and considered and if thought fit would be passed.

Article v of constitution and by-laws of my club – Resignation

Section C says:

The name of any member who shall absent himself from four consecutive regular meetings of the club without acceptable cause being given to the attendance committee chairman or the club secretary, shall be submitted to the BOD by the secretary at the Board Meeting next following the fourth such absence, and the BOD shall decide whether such member shall be dropped from the club or retained on the club roaster.

New Name approved by ROS only on 23.11.2016

I have waited for more than half a day for some update by my PDG John S F Ho. I am a little concerned about writing in my blog and Face Book on what I have found out as our friend John S F Ho will tell, after he has read what I am writing here, that he and the rest of the members knew this all along.

Name of my club not in the Registry of Societies

I find it strange that some of my club members especially PDG John S F Ho is trying to vilify me and attack me for revealing many things that my club members have been sweeping under the carpet. Why go after me, go after John S F Ho for his wrong doings which I had high-lighted.

Legality of Board of Directors/Regular Members meeting

My Lions Club had its 6^th BOD meeting/Regular Meeting on 6.12.2016.

It was at this meeting that it was decided that an EGM will be called to decide on the expulsion of me, Luqman Michel, from the club.

Response to John Ho's unbecoming remarks on Whatsapp

Dear PDG John S F Ho and Fellow lions who may still want to read these posts.

I had said that I’ll not respond to any more emails and allowed both PP Nenita and PDG JH the last words. I have no choice but to write this email as PDG JH has now made a comment on Whats App which is uncalled for and is very unbecoming of a PDG.
