John Ho's intimidating email

Note: This will be the last post on Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host for at least a month. It may be even 2 or 3 months.

This is a lengthy post but for those who would like to know why DG Eve Wong did not respond, this post may be able to shed some light. This email shows how devious John SF Ho can be.

Eve Wong had written an email to John SF Ho and John responded as follows.

My comments in red after each paragraph of John’s email was written and sent off to Eve Wong, International president of LCI and David Kingsbury of LCI legal. This was in March 2017.

Dear DG Eve Wong,

A stitch in time saves nine - inaction of DG, VDG, PDG's and LCI

A leader should shoulder responsibility for making decisions that will have implications for many others.

However, that does not come naturally to most 'so called leaders'. Their natural inclination is to pass the buck to someone else.

In the case of Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host, decisions could have been taken by the club members when Past President Horace Ho Toh Chee tried to get PDG John Ho and me to bury the hatchet. I accepted but John Ho declined to make up.

Money Laundering - a thought

On 22.12.2016 I emailed all Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host (LCKKHost) members and asked as to how many bank accounts were operated by LCKKHost.

None of the members responded to my email.

Now, it has been confirmed that LCKKHost operated 5 bank accounts and a fixed deposit account.

Most members are aware of only 2 bank accounts.

ROS is given the balances of only 2 bank accounts. As such the requirement of the Societies Act to report any money received from outside the country cannot have been fulfilled.

Lions Club - Letterhead - A revisit

Many years ago the letterhead of LCKKHost was like the above where the
named officers on the left could use the letter head for official purposes.
My posts have been heavy reading during the last few days. Let us relax a little and think together on something else for a day or so.

Please read my post on 3.11.2016 (more than a year ago) at: https://myclubexperiences.blogspot.my/2016/11/letter-head.html

At that point in time when I wrote the above post it did not make any sense at all as to why the club president Thomas Ho Thau Phin changed his mind about permitting me to use the letter head.
I was the chairman of Environment for year 2016/2017 and I was a committee member of “My kampong” project.

Passing the buck (Part 2) - Eve Wong

Here are emails to and fro DG Eve Wong. I am posting all of them at the same time as I will be very busy with some work next month and in April.

Please read the emails in their entirety as only then will you get a grasp of the actual situation. I did not rush into anything at all. I wrote my emails and gave enough time and I am only posting these emails now as no Lion/Lions Club or even LCI had come forward to settle this problem amicably.

Passing the buck (part 1) details

The following are the full contents of emails I posted extracts of yesterday. I had not posted  all these emails for a year hoping matters will be settled amicably.

Now, that even LCI Legal is trying to pass the buck to me I think it is high time I lay all the cards on the table.

Here is an email to PDG Dato Lawrence Ting that I wrote on 12.12.2016 while I was still a member of LCKKHost.

Passing the buck (part 1)

I wrote to LCI Finance on 12.12.2016 and then to LCI Finance, Administration and Legal on 13.12.2016 and again on 18.12.2016 and continued with many more emails.

I wrote to most of the PDG’s in District 308A2 and to the DG and VDG.

The then VDG Pelly Lee did not respond to any of the emails I sent to her as shown below. I shall post the full emails to her tomorrow for anyone interested in reading the details. The following are extracts.
