Here are some vital points that members of Lions of Kota Kinabalu Host seem to overlook.

“Societies that fail to comply with their constitutions will be deregistered, says DPM
Registered societies that conduct activities beyond their constitutions or violate the law will face deregistration by the Registrar of Societies (RoS).

Deputy Prime Minister Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said this was to ensure that societies stayed in line with the objectives behind its establishment and constitution.”

“Hence, if there is a complaint against any society that does not comply with its own constitution, then the RoS will conduct an investigation and deregister it under Section 13 of the Societies Act 1966 (Act 335),” Zahid, who is also home minister, told the Dewan Negara today.

My comments: In the next few days we shall see some sections of the Societies Act and see if activities of Lions Club of Kota Kinabalu Host have violated the law.

The above will be in addition to conducting activities beyond the clubs constitution.

As mentioned earlier and as per the last paragraph by the DPM above, a complaint against any society … will be investigated.

As I mentioned earlier there are many matters that I had not complained to ROS but will do so soon and I will write it here for all to see. This will give members enough time to prepare for subsequent questions by ROS.

One of my friends here will say why ‘beat the grass and alert the snake’, but I had done that with my former club right from the beginning and know that all members will just stand by and watch instead of taking any action.

I had repeatedly said that the club has been run by one person, John SF Ho who manipulates minutes and Thomas Ho Thau Phin claims it is written by him (Thomas Ho). Now, he (John SF Ho) does the same with the current president, Betty Epin.

I let you be the judge of that.  

Our puppet Marcia Hong had said the following in my post on 20.12.2017.

Kai Jian Hua Luqman now admits KK Host is NOT suspended. He only hallucinates and conjures KK Host suspension, like he does with everything else.
He now says "Actual suspension will occur after reviewing answers submitted" Answers were already submitted within 24 hours and still no suspension. It will not happen as the 2 questions raised are purely administrative and so insignificant that they DO NOT warrant any suspension/deregistration.

She added the following comment in my post on 25.12.2017

Luqman Michel You are also not a member and how do u know so much ?
How can u even know about the Ros letter and posted in your facebook on 20th Dec 2017 morning when KK Host only received on the 19 Dec 2017 and only manage to give copies to key members on the 20th Dec 2017 afternoon ? You have yet to answer?

On 26.12.2017 in my post on Fun with Chinese sayings Marcia Hong said:

KG Wan Kg, do you know what was actually raised by ROS?? You have been ill informed and talk nonsense. Any matters that can be answered within 24 hours are trivial and insignificant. Anyway 17 January is just round the corner and the whole world will know whether KK Host is still alive and kicking!!

My comment now: Who was the one who submitted answers within 24 hours? Marcia Hong had also said, “KK Host only received on the 19 Dec 2017 and only manage to give copies to key members on the 20th Dec 2017 afternoon?”

Who decided that sections 13(2) is insignificant and trivial?

Should the BOD not have met to discuss this matter before responding to ROS?

If I were a member (just an ordinary member) I would have called an EGM so that I get views from all members as this is a matter of grave importance where there is imminent danger of the club being suspended.
